How come american cars are so slow around tracks? 8 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Hey boys and girls....
Lately ive been thinking, how come its pretty much always the european and japanese roadcars that are so fast around racing tracks compared to the cars from USA?

I mean surerly american cars are fast on the straightline...but once the curves comes its all over LOL!!
Is it just me who thinks like this?

Hehe first of all welcome to the forum!
Hmm would have to disagree with McLaren88, some great track cars that comes to mind are Corvette z06, Ford GT, Mosler MT900S and Viper GTS. Those three are all extremely quick around any track.

Mosler MT900S is a kitcar lol. Read the reviews the Viper is getting and i think you will change your mind about it. It sure can't turn.

America is Huge so are their cars , their roads , people jk, turning radii for cars too
Big isn't always better. That's what i think even though I love American cars, enjoy the noise on
their looooong straight roads where bends are rare as dodos ( were not counting the mountain roads there ) cars built to adapt to the natural surroundings they were built in.
vastness for America .
Not much space in Europe so smaller quicker and nimbler cars same for Japan which just copies everything more or less or makes complicated stuff which is doomed to failure .

Ahh well don't mind me if you think I'm insulting anyone here, I might be wrong with my opinion

I agree with nggnorm, american cars are simply to big to be competetive around the track.
